Hailing from north county Dublin, Offshore are a five piece band who derive their influences from anything and everything musically inspiring from both past and present. The last 3 years have seen Offshore gig their way around the Dublin music scene playing in venues such as Whelans, The Village and the Button Factory.

Their first offering in the form of their self-titled EP helped see them secure a place in last years Hard Working Class Heroes Festival. From there the band have been going from strength to strength. April 08 saw them declared winners of the Phantom FM Battle of the Bands ahead of 60 other top Irish Bands.

Having played the 2fm New Bands Stage at Oxegen in July, Offshore returned to the studio to record their first release. The Double A Side Single which will contain the tracks "Small Fires" and "Balcony Waves" is set for release February 5th with the launch night at Dublin's Crawdaddy that night. With their follow up EP already in production Offshore will be taking to the road over the coming weeks and months.

The single was recently released to the media and was first played by 2fm's Dan Hegarty on his ‘Alternative to Sleep’ show last Friday 23rd Jan.
