Sinopse: "Speedy" perde o trabalho como vendedor de refrigerantes, então passa o dia com sua namorada na Ilha de Coney e torna-se motorista de táxi, então ele deixa Bebe Ruth no Yankee Stadium, onde também fica para assistir o jogo. Quando a empresa de bondes tenta tirar de circulação o último bonde puxado a cavalo (operado pelo avô da sua namorada), que portanto ficaria sem trabalho, "Speedy" organiza um movimento com os funiconários antigos da companhia para derrubar o estratagema da empresa.
