Sinopse: A cidade mineira de Peaceful Vale é um lugar áspero, e o xerife 'Gus Shy' Gallagher pouco pode fazer sobre este tema, desde que a cidade começou a ser governada por Crooked Charley, o jogador. Charley expulsa Pierre da taverna e da cidade, leva Nell, a filha de Pierre como sua prisioneira.
