No-one knows what to get him.Then Mr.Troop reveals that he's wanted "a painting of Trumpton Town Hall"..."for ages" Fortunately an itinerant artist has been out at the Mintons painting the cottages.Unfortunately,he leaves before he can be commissioned.The fire brigade look for him using the hoist.But,by chance,he turns up in the Sq. painting the Town Hall anyway.So the Mayor's gets his painting,and is pleased enough to offer "free drinks and ice creams"at the Band concert.
