Robin Hood tells the story of an expert archer, previously interested only in self-preservation, in the service of King Richard's army against the French. After the death of Richard, Robin goes to Nottingham, a town suffering because of corruption of a despotic sheriff and charging exorbitant tax, which falls for the fiery widow Lady Marion (Oscar winner Cate Blanchett ®), a woman suspicious of the identity and motives of this forest warrior.
