About Hazy Hamlet

Classic, raw and punchy Heavy Metal, is what can be found when listening to Hazy Hamlet. Its lyrics present epic themes and reflections on death, war and praise to Heavy Metal itself. The group name sends the listener to a shadowy world, where important facts are hidden under a dense haze of interests, and the warriors Arthur Migotto (V), Júlio Bertin (G), Fabio Nakahara (B) and Hermano Filho (D) try through their tunes to make each listener reflect and find the truth drawing his own conclusions.

Conceived in 1999, Hazy Hamlet counted with different members, having in the year of 2001, recorded and produced the Demo CD Hazy Tales. This was the first material of the band, and included four songs that demonstrated all the professionalism adopted by Hazy Hamlet. Although counting with a modest sound production, this Demo CD granted the band great reviews, in national and international territory.

In 2003 the band brought up all its power and identity in the second work, an EP called Revelation, demonstrating rage and professionalism with an exciting Heavy Metal, full of worked harmonies, heavy riffs and epic elements. This work once more granted the group excelent reviews in different places of the world.

In december 2004, Hazy Hamlet released a virtual single called Chrome Heart, aiming to promote what headbangers can expect to find in "Forging Metal", the debut album of the group. Sounding more traditional and seeking the Heavy Metal roots, the band intends then strengthening what is said in its lemma: "Fidelity to Metal!" ...or as the great lords of the past would say: "Metallo Fidelitas!"
