Over the past several weeks, multiple reports had referenced that the G.I. Joe: Retaliation home release would involve a special “Extended Cut” edition on Blu-Ray.

Several pre-orders had emerged, mostly through foreign sources at Amazon.uk, Amazon.de, and Best Buy Canada. Paramount just sent an official announcement for the G.I.
