The song was written by Elvis "BlacElvis" Williams, Harold Lilly and Knowles. In the United States, the song was released as the album's fifth single. The album version, and the remix which features Kanye West, was sent to U.S. radio on May 19, 2009. The remix will be included in the "Above and Beyoncé (Video Collection & Dance Remixes)" DVD/CD."
