Jennifer Rush's fourth album for EMI and her final to date, the aptly titled career retrospective "Classics" featuring classical interpretations of her greatest hits with the Hungarian Philharmonic Orchestra. These were radical reworkings of the songs, many of the uptempo pop tunes were now slow and dramatic works, such as "Ring of Ice" and "I Come Undone", and the orchestral arrangement of "Ave Maria" is based on Schubert's famous aria of the same name. As well as these, four new songs were included in the collection, including lead single "The End Of A Journey".
