Box one focuses on the roots of dub bringing together four foundation classics from the golden age of versions that gathers together many of the main players from dubs big bang moments. , Joe Gibbs ‘Dub Serial’ from 1973 is one of the true foundation stones of dub, recorded at Randy’s with Errol Thompson at the controls. Two crucial dub box sets from King Tubby are included ‘Dub From The Roots’ from 1974 and ‘The Roots Of Dub’ from 1975, produced by Bunny Lee. The final disc is Niney The Observer’s ‘Dubbing With The Observer’ from 1975.
