The name of DJ Rubetz appeared on the south russian club scene in 2005, right after Play.FM published his live set of finest electro. Being a dj-resident at Fashion Cafe since 2002, and lately at several other dj-bars, cafes and clubs, playing different styles, Sergey developed his own approach of musical selection and the whole dj’ing stuff - so that all of his sets sound organic at dancefloor as well as while listening at home or in chill-out zone. Changing styles and musical epochs in his sets - through hard rock and disco of 70’s, to synth-pop, italo-disco, electroclash, electro, minimal techno, tech-house and even nu-rave and disco punk, Sergey comes out to making music, starting with remixes for local artists and producing his own tracks. Finally, his debut, self-mixed-album “Last Summer In Space” emerged in 2007. Later in 2008 DoBox Recordings USA released his neighbour's Vadz “Abstraction” EP, with Rubetz' brilliant remix. In 2008 Rubetz was playing at several club parties organized by phubriq, malowatts, party monster, nu jackers promogroups, also he published some new tracks and remixes and at this moment he is working on his second album 'dead electronix'.
