Off The Charts: The Song-Poem Story (quirky music documentary) torrent

A documentary about the "song-poem"-phenomenon. People send in their poems to companies that make them into songs. The authors are everyone from a young kung-fu obsessed guy in New York to an old woman who writes poems about Jesus.

The film is also about the musicians day in and day out, composing and recording music for countless poems with names such as: "I Am a Ginseng Digger" and "Jimmy Carter Says Yes!". Plus the record collectors who have begun to open their eyes to "song-poems". It is said that there have been over 200 000 "song-poems" in the U.S. since 1900.
