Doberman (Vincent Cassel) jest gangsterem, stojącym na czele grupy przestępców brutalnie napadających na największe miejskie banki. Policja nie może znaleźć sposobu na rozpracowanie gangu Dobermana. Do akcji wkracza specjalny agent do spraw zorganizowanej przestępczości - inspektor Christini (Cheky Kayro). Christini dowodzi grupą policyjną, mającą w jak najszybszym czasie unieszkodliwić gangsterów. Wojna ta przeradza się w swoisty konflikt dwóch wielkich osobowości - błyskotliwego inspektora i genialnego przestępcy. Jednak to akcja policyjna przynosi oczekiwane efekty i szybko okazuje się, że Doberman zostaje sam na polu walki. Nie może już liczyć ani na swoją dziewczynę Nat (Monica Bellucci), ani na swoich byłych towarzyszy broni...
