The ancient vampire Count Dracula arrives in England and begins to prey upon
the virtuous young Eva. A visiting expert in the occult, Van Helsing, recognizes
Dracula for who he is, and there begins a battle for Eva's body and soul.

Drácula was filmed at night on the same sets that were used in the day for the English-language version. The Spanish crew had the advantage of watching the English dailies in the evening, and would figure out better camera angles and more effective use of lighting. As a result, the Spanish version is considered more artistically effective.
