Johnny Worricker (Bill Nighy) is een MI5-officier met een lange staat van dienst. Wanneer zijn baas
en beste vriend Benedictus Baron (Michael Gambon) plotseling overlijdt, laat hij een onverklaarbaar
dossier achter dat een bedreiging vormt voor de stabilitiet van de organisatie. Ondertussen lijkt een
toevallige ontmoeting tussen Johnny en zijn buurvrouw, de politieke activiste Nancy Pierpan (Rachel
Weisz), te mooi om waar te zijn. Johnny wordt gedwongen om zijn werk en zijn identiteit naast zich
neer te leggen om de waarheid te ontdekken.

Johnny Worricker (Bill Nighy) is a long-serving MI5 officer. His boss and best friend Benedict Baron

the organization. Meanwhile, a seemingly chance encounter with Johnny\\\'s striking next-door
neighbor and political activist Nancy Pierpan (Rachel Weisz) seems too good to be true. Johnny is
forced to walk out of his job, and then out of his identity to find out the truth. Set in London and
Cambridge, PAGE EIGHT is a contemporary spy film for the BBC, which addresses intelligence issues
and moral dilemmas peculiar to the new century.
