Fragments of empire

Synopsis: The film\'s hero, non-commissioned officer Filimonov, lost his memory in the first world war when trying to fraternize with a German soldier (also played by Nikitin). After 10 years of living in a village and working as a farm-hand, he regains his memory and returns to his native Petersburg looking for his wife. He is amazed at the Soviet progress, he meets his former boss who sends him to the factory, now called Fabcom, where he finds work and also meets his wife again who has remarried.
