For economic reasons, conservationist Adam Hitchens (Joseph Mawle) takes a job in a remote forest, hoping to find a new life for him, his wife Clare (Bojana Novakovic) and his newborn son. However, upon arriving at the new house, a farmer with strong beliefs in the local tradition warns him to stop stirring in those sacred lands. When someone invades the house of the Hitchens at night, wanting to hurt the child, and the police do not find out who did it, the couple will have to fight to protect their son and survive before demonic beings that inhabit that forest.
