VERY IMPORTANT RELEASE NOTE : Important: This is something new. It’s an HDR encode. If you don’t know what that is, go Google. You probably can play this like any other 4K release however you would be disappointed with the quality. BUT! if you play as HDR(HDR to SDR is the next best thing) you’ll enjoy the new quality.
For PC users, you should download madVR Video Renderer. It’s not so AMD friendly so you maybe face some issues if you have an AMD card.
Anyway, download the sample and check for yourself.
Use latest MPC-HC , VLC , KMPlayer, Gom Player , or any other modern player to play X265 .
Please note that x265 requires more resources for adequate playback . if your audio is out of sync , then your machine can't handle it .
So make sure that you have a strong PC or device to play it .
If you only have audio and no video , then please update your player .
