[info] Black Coffee is bestselling hard'n'heavy group from Russia/USSR, topped USSR charts from 1987 to 1991 with more than 2 million copies of their debut 1987 LP officially sold in USSR alone. And all this without SINGLE (!) promotional videoclip on TV. "Golden Lady" is the only official video Black Coffee had in their entire career, but even this clip was made more like a demo of the video, not the video with high level production. "Golden Lady" is also the name of the album, which was recorded by Black Coffee, trying to reach American & European music markets in 1991 in the footsteps of Gorky Park and Kruiz international album releases (both are other Russian/Soviet hard'n'heavy acts of 1980s-1990s). "Golden Lady" was sung in English (the whole album), although originally Black Coffee always sang in Russian. And they kept on singing in Russian after that.
