Saliva is an American hard rock/alternative metal band formed in Memphis, Tennessee in September 1996 and currently under Island/Def Jam Records. Saliva released their self-titled debut album on August 26, 1997 under Rocking Chair Records/Red Urban Records

They were signed to Def Jam Records and went on to release their second studio album Every Six Seconds. Saliva later recorded their third studio album titled Back Into Your System on November 12, 2002 which reached #19 on the Billboard 200. Back Into Your System launched one of Saliva's most successful songs, "Always", reaching #51 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #1 on the Modern Rock Chart. Three years after Survival Of The Sickest, Saliva released Blood Stained Love Story on January 23, 2007 repeating Back Into Your System's chart performance at #19 on the Billboard 200. Its first single, "Ladies And Gentlemen", peaked at #2 on the Mainstream Rock Chart.

Cinco Diablo is the sixth full-length studio album by American rock group Saliva. It was released on December 16, 2008. Its first single was "Family Reunion" launched onto iTunes on October 28, 2008. However it was shortly thereafter removed. The whole album is being streamed on their MySpace page. This is their shortest album to date. The album debuted at #104 on the Billboard 200, making it their lowest-charting album in the band's history. The album is expected to have sold around 15,000 copies in its first week, as an album 14 places below it moved 13,500.

Cinco Diablo can loosely be translated to Five Devil.

A Deluxe Edition of the album is available exclusively from Best Buy, and it includes a 30 Minute Long Live DVD.

"Hunt You Down" was named the official theme song to WWE's PPV event, WWE No Way Out 2009.

A music video has been filmed for "How Could You".
