"Ready, Set, Don't Go" is a country pop song released in 2007 by Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus, from Billy Ray's album, Home at Last. Released in August 2007, it did not reach its peak position until March of 2008. The single debuted at #47 and was Cyrus' first chart entry on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart since "The Other Side" reached #45 in 2003, as well as his first Top 5 since "Busy Man" in 1999, which peaked at #3.

Originally recorded and released as a solo song, "Ready, Set, Don't Go" was re-released in October 2007 as a duet with Miley Cyrus. The duet version of the song debuted on the charts at #27. After it was released, the songs airplay increased massively moving up 15 spots in one week. The duet also reached #37 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #44 on the Billboard Pop 100. Also gaining play in Canada, the song reached the Top 10 at #7.

The original solo version of "Ready, Set, Don't Go" debuted on the Hot Country Songs chart at #47 for the chart week of August 11, 2007; giving Cyrus first chart entry since 2003 when "The Other Side" reached #45 on the same chart. Billy Ray and Miley debuted the duet version of on the October 9, 2007 episode on the ABC series Dancing with the Stars. The duet version featuring Miley, debuted at #27 on the Hot Country Songs chart for the chart week of October 27, 2007.
