Regine Velasquez-Alcasid (born Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez on April 22, 1970) is a Filipina singer, actress, record producer and TV host. She won the 1989 Asia Pacific Singing Contest in Hong Kong and is widely known for possessing a wide and powerful vocal range.
