”Peace Notes Live in Venice” recoge la grabación del memorable concierto en directo que el gran compositor Ennio Morricone diera el 10 y el 11 de septiembre de 2007 en la Plaza de San Marcos de Venecia acompañado por la Roma Sinfonietta Orchestra, y con las voces del Coro Polifonico del Teatro La Fenice y la soprano Susanna Rigacci. El evento, que el músico italiano tituló \"Notas de Paz\" contra todas las masacres y matanzas de la historia humana, y en recuerdo del funesto día, fue retransmitido por la RAI UNO el 11 de septiembre de ese mismo año. Unos meses antes, el 2 de febrero, el maestro Morricone y la mencionada orquesta dieron un importante concierto en el Salón de Actos de la ONU para celebrar el nombramiento del nuevo Secretario General, Ban Ki-moon, de Corea del Sur.

”Peace Notes Live in Venice” the legendary soundtrack composer and Academy Award -winner Ennio Morricone, treats a captivated audience to some of his most beloved compositions in this live Venice concert filmed at the Piazza San Marco in 2007.
The Italian composer’s long artistic career took off when he composed the soundtracks for A Fistful of Dollars, Once Upon A Time In The West and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Since 1960, Ennio has created the scores for over 400 films and worked with a range of first-class directors from Brian De Palma and Warren Beatty to Roman Polanski and Pedro Almodovar. He has received quite a haul of awards for his ingenious work: 3 Golden Globes, 5 Baftas, 8 Nastri d’ARgento and a Grammy Award among many others.
Ennio’s work has never been restricted to film work. He has conducted many orchestras around the world. In his Venice concert, he conducts the Roma Sinfonietta at the glorious Piazza San Marco with the help of soprano Susanna Rigacci and Coro Polifonico del Teatro La Fenice choir and treats us to his fantastic treasure trove of musical gems.

”Notes Pour La Paix” En 2004, il enregistre un disque avec le violoncelliste YoYo Ma contenant ses thèmes à succès. Durant la 79ème cérémonie des Oscars en 2007, il est récompensé par un Oscar d\'honneur.
Le 10 septembre 2007, il a dirigé devant plus de 20 000 personnes sur la place San Marco de Venise un concert intitulé «Notes pour la paix» unique et inédit ayant procuré d\'immenses émotions avec l\'orchestre «Roma Sinfonetta», le Choeur du « Théâtre de la Fenice» et la soprane Susanna RIGACCI.
