The Jailhouse were a heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1988.

The band was founded in Los Angeles\' in August 1988, guitarist Amir Derakh, Matt Thorr, and drummer David Alford. These three members were veterans of the recent melting of Rough Cutt vocalist because of the abandonment of Paul Shortino it got the Quiet Riot. Thorr and Alford were also members of the earliest formation of Ratt, between 1978 and 1981, back when the group was named Mickey Ratt.

The band was completed by guitarist and vocalist Danny Michael Raphael Simon.

The Jailhouse were broadcast on radio and on MTV with the hit \"Please Come Back\" and \"Modern Girl\". Subsequently, the group found an agreement with Enigma Records , but unfortunately it declared bankruptcy shortly after.
