Within the Rock (1996) torrent

A moon is on a collision course with earth, a team of space miners are dispatched to change it's trajectory. Upon landing they come across a preserved being a carrion eater, that only feeds on decomposing meat, which was sent into space by a species that it was slowly decimating. They soon find out too late it was hibernating.
