Een Amerikaanse stad ontwaakt bij de surrealistisch aanblik van buitenlandse parachutisten die uit de lucht vallen. Geïnspireerd door hun middelbare school mascotte noemen ze zichzelf de Wolverines, met als doel om elkaar te beschermen, hun stad te bevrijden en hun vrijheid terug te nemen.
