Earth, Wind & Fire Talks Music torrent

Malcolm Gerrie welcomes Verdine White, Ralph Johnson and Philip Bailey - three of the founding members of Earth, Wind & Fire - onto the stage for a candid chat about their extraordinary career.
The trio founded the band in Chicago alongside Maurice White in 1969 and changed the sound of black pop in the 1970s with their Latin-funk rhythms, dynamic horns and gospel harmonies.
The band released a string of hits, including That's The Way Of The World, Devotion, Reasons, Fantasy, Love's Holiday, September and Boogie Wonderland, earning them six Grammy Awards and four American Music Awards.
Verdine and Philip tell Malcolm that they were classically trained musicians before explaining White's concept for the band, their trademark sound and the thrill of putting on their spectacular stage shows
