Homme proved to be one of the best local acts at Chicago's Pitchfork Festival
when they took the Blue Stage and kicked things off with their pitch-perfect
alternating vocals, rock-inspired guitar riffs and pleasing melodies. Those pop
melodies gradually turn into noise rock jams while Macie Stewart and Sima Cunningham
create harmonies that are a bit eerie and wonderfully unsettling. This performance,
along with their 2015 self-titled release which contains six unique and intriguing
songs, both promise amazing things to come.
