Baadshah (English: Emperor) is a 2013 Telugu action film directed by Srinu Vaitla. The film is produced by Bandla Ganesh under his Parameswara Art Productions banner.[7] It stars Jr. NTR and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles and is their second film together after Brindavanam. The soundtrack was composed by S. Thaman, working with Srinu Vaitla for the second time in his career.[8] The film will have it's cinematography handled by I Andrew, Jayanan Vincent, R D Rajasekhar and K V Guhan.[9] The film was formally launched on March 18, 2012 in Hyderabad and shooting began on July 1, 2012 in Italy.[10] The film is the most expensive film ever made in Telugu[5] and was released on April 5, 2013.[11]
