Sameer (Raj Babbar) sees a person being shot dead near a public garden in the wee hours of moing. Unable to turn a blind eye on such an incident' he reports this at the police station against the wishes of his parents and girlfriend. However' his complaint is shunned off by Inspector Deshmukh (Paresh Rawal) for want of eye witness and the dead body. Sub-Inspector Patwardhan helps Sameer who finds out that Inspector Deshmukh is also involved in the murder of Ajay' who was working for a cigarette company. Ajay had compiled a report which exposes the trade secrets of the cigarette manufacturer who adulterated the tobacco with drugs to get people addicted to his brand. Sameer is determined to expose these criminals of society and seek justice. How he manages to do it forms the rest of this action packed drama.
