Jennifer Jones portrays a teacher in the early fifties. While simplistic in scope and style, this was a well done movie and worth seeing. It is almost unknown and very hard to find. There is no violence, no sexual issues, so it will not appeal to everyone. It is simply the story of a teacher who makes a hard choice and strives to do her duty in an honorable way.
