The Scarab is a forgotten hero of the Golden Age entrusted with the power of the Ancient Egyptian artifact of the Scarabeus, which may have some connection with Nabu, the Lord of Order who empowers Dr Fate. Louis Sendak had since retired from being a superhero until his life takes a horrific turn. An unearthly assassin sets his sights on both Sendak and his long-lost wife.
