My Afternoons With Margueritte

Gerard Depardieu stars as a worker in the South of France who believes himself to be stupid because of his poor reading skills.

That is until one day when he meets Margueritte, an articulate elderly lady, in the park.

The two of them are intrigued by their unlikely bond and begin meeting regularly so that Margueritte can read to him and help to improve his literacy skills.
