"Stargazer" is a two volume all-ages graphic novel series. Each PDF is approximately 30 megs. Each graphic novel is approximately 110 pages long with additional material added in (script excerpts, sketches, that sort of thing). And yup, they look very nice on tablets, too.

Volume 1 synopsis: Three young friends are suddenly transported by a mysterious object to a far off magical world. Recommended if you like “Bone,” “Amulet,” and “Akiko.”

Volume 2 synopsis: In the concluding volume of "Stargazer," Marni, Elora, and Sophie finally reach the mysterious tower, where they make some fantastic discoveries but must also confront some of their worst fears. While the friends' quest to find a way home is a magical adventure, they also find that not every fairytale ends happily.
