Synopsis

George Wilson wrote the screenplay adapted from a relatively obscure Marcel Aymé novel. His son Lambert Wilson starred as the hero, a young soldier returning home after fighting in WW1: he was wounded and it had serious after-effects. In the village where he lives, they tell that a splendid woman swims in the nude in the ponds, protected by the vipers. They call her "La Vouivre". The ex-soldier becomes her lover.
