#33 The Legion of Super-Heroes welcome new members and take on the threat of Starfinger.

#34 The Legion defeat Starfinger, who is revealed to be a brainwashed Jan Arrah. The Legion then learns about the threat of the Sun-Eater, a being that destroys galaxies by eating suns. The Legion are informed that there are five criminals in the universe that have the power to help destroy the Sun-Eater and the Legion needs to gather them for assistance.

#35 While the Legionnaires are off planet, the staff of the Legion headquarters, as well as Lori Morning, battle potential attackers and are able to rebuff them.

#36 The Legionnaires deal with the Fatal Five and the Sun-Eater. Meanwhile, Ambassador Wazzo seems to have snapped after the death of her daughter Apparition and seems intent on destroying the Legion.
