Completely disregard the whole Top Cow branding with this one…As there is no cheesecake or voluptuous women stalking the panels of this comic. In fact, Impaler (a new ongoing to a previous mini) provides a heaping portion of dread, action and nail biting suspense. Harms’ spin on the whole vampire mythos, making Vlad the good guy (well, good is a relative thing) who’s hunting down the horde of evil that have invaded the world, works fantastically well, as does the photo realistic artwork. A definite recommend on all fronts.
