The current volume of Superboy features a genetic clone of Superboy named Kon El. It also features an important supporting cast including Caitlin Fairchild, Rose Wilson and the current Teen Titans. After the events of Krypton Returns, Kon sacrifices himself and is secretly replaced by an evil Superboy named Jon Kent, the son of Superman and Lois Lane.
