Bästard is a french noise rock indus experimental band from Lyon. It was formed in 1993 and ended in 1997.
Taking roots in the "no wave", improv' jazz, noise, indus and influenced by groups like Sonic Youth ; Bästard was one of the major underground french bands in the 90's which paved the way toward post-rock music.
