This is the complement of the 'Essays on Astronomy' torrent.
Nearly the same remarks. The torrent contains the essays listed below, plus some snippets (essays [15-50 kb], snippets [3-10 kb], mainly from Q&A sessions). Orphaned pieces were given titles. Format, all htm; stand alone files, header with block css. Embedded illustrations, 'particle board' cleaned (50ties paper quality), png and jpg. Some substitutions, juxtaposition of replaced and original illustrations. Note files, self explanatory.

Source: Forewords of anthologies, GALAXY and other magazines. 90% are FYI pieces lifted from the GALAXY facsimile torrent. Ley's last Galaxy essays were published posthumously (fall 1969).

Ley did like to expose hoaxes, whatever the subject matter. He also came up with a few mares' nests of his own. Loch Ness monsters (one of his favorites) and Viking landings on Tutankhamun shoreline (well, if it is Sea People).
